A must go to restaurant for dimsum in London! Make sure to order their fried suits with spicy salt to start your dimsum journey

Nice variety of tasty foods with an emphasis of foods from the specific province of China with unique blends. The host of the table was pleasant to work with. The owner and/or managers of the restaurant seem to think that raising their voice loud at workers make them move faster. They place stress on the workers making it unpleasant working environment. It seems like the employees are overworked. I rated this based on the food quality and decent restaurant environment and not the attitude of management. It is still a place to visit for food and good to try other places as well.

Being a Chinese Canadian food lover from Vancouver, I arrived at the London Chinese Restaurant with low expectations and a hungry stomach.
In a nutshell, the food (speaking for the dim sum only) slightly surpassed my low expectations.
Without making extensive comparisons to Chinese food in Vancouver, I will say that the shrimp dumplings, shrimp rice rolls, and the shrimp stuffed eggplant were A-OK. Ask for some hot sauce to dip all the things in!
Oh, I enjoyed the durian pastry, too! Disclaimer: Chances are you WON'T like the smell or the taste of it, but any adventurous dessert lover should try this!
I appreciate that the restaurant was spacious and clean. I would probably return when the dim sum cravings hit. -

Ordered half a duck. Did not get half a duck. The duck looked like they assembled bits and pieces from leftover orders. If I ordered half a duck I expect half which means the wing, breast, drumstick and all

If you have a craving for dim sum, this is the place to be! Not only was this place uber cheap ($22 for 4 dishes, enough for 2 people), but I experienced the utmost warmest service here. A very cute older lady greeted us right away and was always nearby smiling at me, ensuring we had everything we needed. When we paid for our meal, they couldn't stop thanking us while reminding us that they're open 365 days a year.
The dim sum menu is not very descriptive so I had to use google images to make sure I was ordering the right dishes. The deep fried tentacles had too much oily batter and we only had a choice of XL which was way too much for 2 people. I was very impressed with the amount of shrimp in each crystal shrimp dumpling but have tasted better dumpling flour in Toronto. I will have to try some other London dim sum restaurants before I can solidify my rating. But on price and service alone, I will be back! This is also a very typical Chinese restaurant so don't expect too much for cleanliness or decor.
